First matter of business, Happy Valentine's. I know I'm late, sorry. I hope you all enjoyed your VD. ;) Also, happy b'day to my best bud, Dan. Check out his music.

Alright, so I'm doing another of these things. Forgive me. Especially since it gets kinda weird towards the end. However, expect something more original in about a week, plus a semi-regular posting a week after that. Yup yup...things are a'rollin' . :D

The Importance of Being Ernest (Hemingway)

This will be short, I promise.

Hemingway is attributed as writing the shortest story ever. "For sale: Baby shoes, never used."

It was written on a dare to create a story using only six words. Many people claim is is also the saddest story ever.

I wish to challenge that claim.

Ready for it?

"Sad clown painting on black velvet."

That's right Hemingway, you just got served. Booyah!

25 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Me

Posting this here may be cheap, but what the heck. It's fun, right? Furthermore, there is likely to be much more bloggy goodness in the months to come. So without further adieu...

1. My next birthday is my.....25th!

2. I still chew my finger nails.

3. I come from a family of teachers.

4. I cannot see myself doing anything but comics for the rest of my life, and am willing to go bust in attaining this goal.

5. I have never been to the Pacific Northeast.

6. Being alone is pleasant to me.

7. My full name, when translated from its derivations, means "Mighty Warrior King from a Small Town".

8. I have flown an airplane.

9. Inline skating has become one of my passions. So much so, that I will typically go out skating for hours on end. Sometimes, for as long as 3hrs or as far as 36 miles.

10. It is a goal of mine to attend (or be invited to?) the Northshore Inline Marathon.

11. My goal for this upcoming year is to publish one book.

12. Last summer, I burned through three pairs of inline skates and six sets of wheels.

13. In elementary school, I would beat up bullies on occasion.

14. I view blank notebooks as beautiful objects.

15. Once, I saw Garrison Keillor perform at Concordia College, thus completing one of my life goals.

16. Shortly after #15, I forgot what the rest of my life goals were.

17. I have not had my television hooked up to receive broadcast signals for about three years.

18. I am a believer when it comes to sushi. Indian is pretty awesome, too, in large part due to curry. I'm game for pretty much any seafood.

19. I have slowly lost my appetite for meat, and have stopped buying meat products completely.

20. I miss going to school.

21. I really enjoy classical music, and prefer to listen to such whenever I write.

22. Sometimes, I stay up for days straight doing nothing but drawing.

23. My dream pet is a Bernese Mountain Dog.

24. I am tempted to get a St. Bernard

25. Sometimes, I feel like I communicate better with animals than people. Then Robert eats my food.
